Our integrated business model enables us to provide end to end capabilities from procurement till distribution and marketing in a cost-efficient manner. The key components of our integrated business model are as follows:

Procurement

Raw Milk is the key raw material for our business. Our milk procurement operations are spread across the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Maharashtra and consist of procurement of approx. 1.57 million litres of raw milk per day from 1.4+ Lakh farmers across 8500+ villages through 7500+ VLCCs, 900+ procurement routes, 500+ dairy farms and around 100 chilling centres as of March 31st, 2024. One of our key achievements is that we procure milk directly from the farmers. This ensures that there is no intermediary, and the farmer is paid in full for his efforts. This also ensures superior quality and freshness of the milk. The raw milk is transported to the nearest processing plant through chilled tankers for onward processing or manufacture of dairy based Value-Added Products (VAP) like Curd, Ghee, Paneer etc. Our Milk goes through stringent testing processes at each state and is untouched by hand. This ensures the milk is un-adulterated and pure.

Processing

Our processing operations are spread across 14 processing plants located in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu in India. These plants have an aggregate installed capacity of 1.97 million litres of raw milk per day. We also have two SMP plants in Nellore and Vedasandur having an aggregate installed capacity of 25,000 and 10,000 kgs per day respectively. We regularly upgrade technology across our processing plants and expand into new geographies through modern automated plants having fully automated processing lines. Our processing infrastructure is designed in a manner to ensure efficient operations and meet highest product quality standards.

Distribution and Marketing

We sell our products under the “Dodla Dairy” brand in India. We distribute through more than 75 sales offices, around 2500 distribution agents, approx. 2000 distributors and more than 600 Dodla Retail Parlours.
